Re: The start of it all
Elessar grumbled something about not being a kitty, and Aiyana laughed.
"We've been called worse. You certainly have been," she reminded him. He seemed to have no valid response to this and was silent the rest of the way. Aiyana stayed a few steps behind him as they walked, and was also silent. But when they reached his manor, she couldn't help but gasp.
"Oh! How beautiful! Have you lived here long?" she asked. Her green eyes were wide, and he could tell her guard was now completely down. She was fascinated by it, and he read her mind as she wondered if it contained a harp or a library. Elessar growled deep in his throat, and continued to stand between them.

Re: The start of it all
The gasp brought a smile to his flawless face. It was going to be easy to take her kill. Her guard was already completely down. By the time dinner got over he would be able to strike with ease. Maybe he would play with her a bit before hand. It would still be boring to just sink his fangs into her flesh and drain her dry.
“It is to fancy for my taste. I like simple and bland things,” he replied as he continued through the courtyard, up the manor's front stairs and to a massive door. He opened it for her and held it, “I have been staying here on and off for four hundred years,” he informed her peeking into the house. The sound of chatter and foot steps could be heard, “Great, everyone is here.”

Aiyana blushed. She shouldn't like beautiful or fancy things, another vow, but she couldn't help it. The same way she couldn't help but notice how attractive this man was. Elessar sniffed as he opened the door.
"Everyone, what do you mean, everyone?" she asked curiously, peeking a glimpse in.
ooc:// Who are you bringing in? I could bring Visha in if you want! She can be his slave. :3 Whatever you want.

He could not help but laugh as he read Aiyana's thoughts. For a priestess she was not doing a very good job of following the rules. Finding anyone attractive was a big mistake. “My...employees,” he answered in a low hiss, “Go on, get in,” he ordered with a hint of annoyance.
ooc:// Another male. Who is Visha?

Re: The start of it all
Aiyana was surprised at his tone, and quickly hopped in the front door like a startled rabbit. Elessar quickly followed her inside, and looked around. It was elegant, and Aiyana, though dressed in simple robes, almost looked as though she belonged there. Her beauty would be extravagant, if she hadn't been trying to hide it beneath her robes.
"Where should we go?" Aiyana asked him uncertainly. She felt out of place. That much was obvious.
ooc;//http://www.neopets.com/~Enko_757 Visha's on that page, but I just had four typos in one single sentence so I'm going to bed. 0.o

Re: The start of it all
The huge six hundred year old castle like building was nicely decorated. The walls were adorned by original portraits painted by some of the most renowned artist of time. None of the furniture in the manor was younger then one hundred years old. The large crystal chandeliers added to the picture perfect setting.
Demons and vampires roamed the halls, all different in their own way, but all similar in their undeniable beauty. They eyed Aiyana as she walked, all knowing full and well why their 'leader' had brought her home with him.
“You are going to help me in the kitchen,” the vampire mix informed Aiyana. “Do not worry. I feel just as out of place as you do. This place is not my style at all.”
ooc:// She is pretty cool. I like her. We could bring her in as one of my characters slaves if you would like.

"You are going to help me in the kitchen,” the vampire mix informed her. “Do not worry. I feel just as out of place as you do. This place is not my style at all.”
She smiled, blushing, and nodded.
"Dear, is it that obvious? Ah well, I would love to help you in the-"
Her voice cut off as a shifter approached them. Shifters were blood enemies of demons and vampires, so naturally the sight of this young girl, probably barely over 16 years old, was shocking. She was short, and slender, even smaller than Aiyana, and they couldn't have been more different. While Aiyana wore loose robes, this young girl wore a dress that made breathing look as if it were only an occasional hobby for her. It was a traditional Chinese style dress, excluding the slit on the side that came all the way up her thigh. Her long hair was straight, and she had short, choppy straight bangs that almost covered her eyes. Bright, vivid, poisonous green - her eyes and hair were. She moved with a grace that was almost ominous, and bowed when she stood before the vampire mix. Her eyes flashed towards Aiyana for a moment, and the priestess felt cold shivers run down her spine.
"Master, the dog has been put down...as you wished," she said softly, straightening herself. The leopard at Aiyana's side stiffened.
"Ah, a politician, are we?" he snarled. Aiyana's eyes grew wide in fear, but she put a hand on the leopard to quiet him. Visha looked at the pair again, knowing they wouldn't last very long in this house, and looked back at her master.
"Is there anything else you wish for me to do? Should I prepare a room for...your friend?" she asked. Her voice was smooth, like his, but cold, almost dead. This time, Aiyana stiffened.
"Oh no, that won't be necessary. We wouldn't think to impose for more than a quick meal," she said swiftly. A bitter smile flashed across Visha's porcelain face for a brief moment. She knew very well that if the master wanted her to stay, she would stay.

The half breed watched rather attentively as his best servant approached him. As she spoke he looked annoyed, but the look quickly faded away. He nodded his head in response for her update and then looked at Elessar, “Keep quiet, Kitty,” he hissed. “You would not be imposing, Aiyana. I would love for you to stay here for the night. You deserve a good night's rest,” he informed the human with a smile before looking at Visha again, “Set up a room for my guest.”

Re: The start of it all
Elessar snarled as he was commanded to stay quiet. Visha smirked a bit, and turned away.
"Yes, go ahead and make the bed, little snake. Maybe you can sleep in it, if you aren't called on in the night for other duties," the leopard snarled after her. Visha stopped, and for a moment, she tensed, as though ready to spring, but the movement passed from her like water over rock, and she continued down the hallway. Elessar looked disappointed, as though he had wanted to start a fight. Aiyana glared at him.
"Elessar, we are a guests. Act like it," she hissed under her breath. He growled deep in his throat, but glared back. She swallowed, regaining her composure, and turned to their new acquaintance.
"I really must insist that we cannot stay the night. As a priestess, it would be inappropriate, having taken the vows that I have, to spend the night at the house of someone of the opposite gender," she said quite calmly. The leopard turned his blazing golden orbs on the vampire mix, daring him to continue his request. The cat looked quite ready to snap off one of his appendages.

The vampire mix took in a deep breath of air and then he let it out in order to keep himself from the killing the stupid cat. The animal had already got on his last nerve and it was taking all of his will to act the slightest bit civil towards him.
“I insist that you and Elessar stay here, Aiyana. I assure you that you would not be breaking one of your vows. Look around, there are plenty of other people that call this place home. Think of this place as more of a headquarters that all of my people dwell in rather then my home,” he said to the human with a smile.

Re: The start of it all
"No deal, leech," Elessar retorted, his jaws snapping together, echoing throughout the hall. Aiyana looked uneasy, but she did not stop him this time.
"It isn't about whether her vows would actually be compromised, but about the keeping of her appearance and reputation as a priestess. I'm sure as the kind of politician you are, you know all about keeping up a good appearance, so you should understand, or have I spoken too quickly for you?" he snarled. Aiyana put her hand on the leopard's head, and he fell silent, though his golden orbs still blazed in fury at the vampire mix.
"I'm afraid that, however rude he is, Elessar is right. I do apologize, but even the appearance of a respectable priestess, I must upkeep at all times," she said. She leaned over, grabbing a hold of one of the leopard's ears.
"His private business is not of our concern, and I would greatly appreciate it, if you would stop implicating such atrocious theories about our host," she hissed. He rolled his eyes.
"They're hardly theories. Theories can't be proven," he replied, with no effort to keep his voice down at all. Aiyana blushed with fury, but apparently could offer no rebuttal. The leopard grinned, his fangs glittering in the hall, as he looked at the vampire mix. Reading his thoughts, he knew the leopard would have liked nothing more for him to lose his temper once and for all.

Re: The start of it all
“I suggest that you shut your trap before Kallias puts a muzzle on you,” a passing vampire warned Elessar. He was young, no more then sixteen, “Getting on my uncles bad side is a bad idea. You will find that out soon enough if you keep acting up, though,” he said.
“Mind your own business, Lukas,” the vampire mix said to the boy in a almost fatherly tone. “I assure you, Aiyana, that we can sneak you out of here without anyone seeing you. I would never put your reputation as a priestess in danger because of my own selfishness,” he said. “And, Elessar, I would appreciate if you would stop making comment pertaining to me. You do not know who I am or what exactly I am in charge of.”
He laced in fingers in Aiyana's and lead her off to the kitchen, smirking at her cat. “Do you know how to cook anything,” he asked, wondering if she would be of any help.

Re: The start of it all
Elessar flashed her a warning look that was apprentely ignored, or perhaps...just unnoticed. She was now staring at her fingers intertwined with his, and blushing quite nicely.
"Well, I suppose that would be all right...I haven't slept in a bed in ages..." she said, as though talking to herself. Elessar growled. He had lost. He became silent, contenting himself with glaring at their hands. He would have bitten, if not for Aiyana's hand.
"Well...I'll admit, Elessar and I have been, well, roughing it for so long, that I'm afraid my best recipes have to do with antidotes, and healing remedies. I mean, I can boil water, of course, but..." she stammered. Apparently, she was very much distracted by the fact he was touching her.
ooc:// LOL. XD

Re: The start of it all
Kallias smiled as Elessar turned his attention to glaring at their intertwined hands. By the time he was done with Aiyana tonight the leopard would be more then just pissed with him. He slid his fingers out of hers and then wrapped a arm around her waist, “I like your warmth,” he explained to her before looking at her guardian with now pure black eyes.
“I can heal with out potions and stuff of that sort,” he informed her. Aiyana was apparently interested in the healing and helping of others and he figured that the statement would catch her interest. “Do not worry about not being able to cook. I know how to. In fact I have a degree in culinary arts.”

Re: The start of it all
Aiyana blushed and tried to pull away from him.
"I'm sorry...I am..."
"Not used to being touched by a leech?" Elessar hissed, interrupting her. She blushed brighter.
"Elessar! What I mean, Kallias, is that...well, my vows..." she stammered. Again, the leopard finished her thought.
"Are strict, so get your slimy paws off her," he snarled. Aiyana looked disappointed, but didn't try to argue. She tried to change the subject.
"I'm sure I could help you with something simple, couldn't I? Just...give me the proper instruction, and I'll do whatever you like," she said, trying to sound more cheerful. Elessar grumbled under his breath something about 'not everything.'
